Click here to Access the on-line appointment system

Patients are reminded that they can have on-line access so you can organize your medical centre activities (booking appointments or requesting repeat prescriptions) at a time that is convenient to you.

Remember that on-the-day appointments are released on-line for patients every day-so you can book your own appointment on-line rather telephone the practice during the busiest periods.  You can also book telephone consultations to speak to a GP about an on-going issue.  Telephone consultations are not 'Face to Face' so make sure you book the correct appointment.

Speak to a Receptionist about how to obtain an on-line account.

Note about the Telephone system

The telephone system can handle more simultaneous callers in the morning when we are very busy and it will let patients know where they are in the queue. Patients can leave messages when the queries about their blood results or if they have a questions about a referral.

Blood test and other queries line: Contact the practice between 09:30 – 13:00 Monday to Friday! (Please check under 'New Services' for more details)

The doctors for weekend appointments and nurses for Saturday appointments will be able to see patients’ medical records, with the patient’s consent, to make the appointments as effective as possible.

People will be able to use these appointments for routine care such as check-ups, wound care, child immunisations, cervical screening, and contraceptive advice.

CHANGES TO OPENING HOURS (as of 1st November)

To improve patient access we are providing patients with more contact to GPs by an increase in telephone access.

You will be able to phone and speak to a GP on the day you contact the practice.  The GP will then discuss with you how best to deal with your health needs.

Patients can still book face to face appointments or telephone consultations in advance and should do this via the SystmOnline account or by phone.

From Tuesday 1st November 2016 reception open hours will be 0700 hrs to 1830hrs Monday to Friday with phones connecting to Reception at 0800 hrs. There will be a pre-bookable GP clinic from 0700 to 0800 hrs during the weekdays.

Saturday Surgery will be pre-booked appointments with a GP between 8:00-10:00 AM.

We have taken patient feedback about this and discussed this with the Patient Participation Group with nearly all patients feeling this is a positive step.  We will review how this is working over the next few weeks.

PATIENT NOTICE 1st March 2016

Increase in measles cases in North West London

There is a significant increase in confirmed measles cases in North West London within the last 2 weeks, age range 0 – 41 years. The following measures have been recommended by Public Health England to protect patients and staff:

-Patients with a rash, especially if preceded by a fever, should telephone the surgery before turning up unannounced.

-Patients who do arrive in the practice with a rash illness to report to reception.

-Should patients with a fever and rash attend during surgery when other patients are in the waiting room, they should be directed to a side room.

Receptionists have been told that ALL patients with a fever and rash should attend at the end of surgery to minimise the risk of transmission to others.

For more information about measles see:

More on-line appointments being released
More appointments are being released on-line.  This enables patients to book appointments directly without having to telephone our practice.
We are also offering 5 minute telephone appointments for patients who would like to discuss an aspect of their health/medical care with a GP.  This is NOT a face to face appointment.  A telephone appointment may be a good way to discuss recent test results.

If you would like an online account speak to one of the reception staff

We are pleased to provide patients with our January 2016 Newsletter.

Our Telephone System

With patient’s needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Our telephone system:

Our telephone system tells patients where they are in queue, and can now handle more simultaneous callers in the morning when we are very busy. We allow patients to leave messages when the queries about their blood results or have an issue with a referral. The system reminds them that they can do many things on-line and we hope to encourage up-take of these services so that they can organise their medical centre activities at a time that is convenient to them.

Remember that on-the-day appointments are released for patients use in the early hours, so you can book your own appointment at 07:00 in the morning rather than waiting to get through on the telephone.
