Our Telephone System
Our telephone system tells now handle more simultaneous callers in the morning (when we are very busy) and will also inform patients where they are in the queue. Patients are able to leave messages when their query is about their blood results or if they have a question about a referral.
Our telephone system has call options which let you chose the right service. The following is the call tree option you will listen in our telephone system.
In the interest of all parties calls may be recorded. Select from the following options or if you know the extension, please dial the extension number now. You may be asked about your problem so that the reception staff can best direct you to the right service. Please select from the following options
· Press 1 to book an appointment
· Press 2 to order a repeat prescription
· Press 3 to find out about your test results
· Press 4 to find about your referral
· Press 5 for medical or insurance reports and housing letters
· Or please continue to hold and your call will be transferred to one of our receptionist
Repeat Prescription Message: You can order your repeat medication via the request form. Please complete the request form and drop in the prescription box opposite to the reception. You must clearly write your Full name, Date of Birth, Contact number and the Medication you require. Alternatively you can order via the website if you have your username and password. Please allow 48 working hours for your prescription to be ready.
Find about your test results: Please leave a message clearly stating your full name, Date of Birth, contact number, nature of the test and date the test was taken. A member of staff will get back to you promptly.
Find about your referral: Please leave a message clearly stating your full name, Date of Birth, contact number, nature of the referral and name of the doctor who made the referral. A member of staff will get back to you promptly.
Medical or Insurance reports: Please leave a message clearly stating your Full name, Date of Birth and Contact number. A member of our admin team will get back to promptly.
On-line access -We offer many services via our website. You can register to be a patient at the practice by completing and submitting our online registration form. You can also book or cancel appointments, send Name change or Address change requests and order Repeat prescriptions via the website. You need to register at the reception for these online services. Bring your photo ID, such as passport or driving license so that we can give you your username and password.
